  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp Salt to add to boiling water


  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsps soy sauce


  • ¾ cup chicken stock or vegetable stock
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp minced garlic


  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp cold water

Step-By-Step Process of Making The Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe:

  1. Cut the chicken in half lengthwise and slice the pieces into 1 inch thick pieces against the grain.

  7. Make the sauce by combining chicken stock, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, minced ginger and minced garlic in a bowl.
  8. Boil the marinated chicken in water for 2-3 minutes then remove it and set aside.
  9. Heat a wok over high heat and add the sauce. Let the sauce simmer for 1 minute.
  10. Add the carrots, broccoli and chicken to the sauce and stir for 30 seconds.
  11. Add cornstarch to thicken the sauce and let it simmer for 15 seconds.
  12. Taste and season with salt.
